RED ROCKS:   Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a geological phenomenon – the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world. Since opening in 1941, it has attracted the best performers to its stage including The Beatles, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Dave Matthews Band and hundreds of other musicians. In fact, U2’s 1983 performance was later included in Rolling Stone’s list of the “50 Moments that Changed Rock and Roll”. The majestic setting of the Amphitheatre, along with the panoramic view of Denver, makes for a breathtaking scene.
ARTISTS:   Atmosphere:
Since the release of The Family Sign in April 2011, Atmosphere have toured both North America and Europe twice, sold out shows across two continents, including their sold out headlining performance at Red Rocks this past August and performed sets at Soundset, Lollapalooza & Bonnaroo. For Atmosphere the last year has   been about spending as much time possible with their ever loyal friends, fans and family.

“We’re amped to play Red Rock’s first ever winter concert this January. I need to find me some fingerless gloves” - Slug of Atmosphere

Common debuted in 1992 with the album Can I Borrow a Dollar? and maintained a significant underground following into the late 1990s, after which he gained notable mainstream success through his work with the Soulquarians. His first major-label album, Like Water for Chocolate, received widespread critical acclaim and tremendous commercial success. His first Grammy award was in 2003 for Best R&B Song for “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)” with Erykah Badu.[4] Its popularity was matched by May 2005’s Be, which was nominated in the 2006 Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. Common was awarded his second Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, for “Southside” (featuring Kanye West), from his July 2007 album, Finding Forever. His best-of album, This is me Then: The Best of Common, was released on November 27, 2007. His new album The Dreamer, The Believer drops later this month.

Grieves + Budo:
Grieves is a Colorado native, but having spent nearly two years on the road touring in support of 88 Keys and Counting, Grieves found himself returning home to a fractured reality. Reeling from turbulence in his career and heartbreak in his personal life mixed with coming down from the high of the support he received on the road, Grieves conceptualized Together/Apart, an album that would address the bond music creates between each of us as individuals and as a whole despite the many distances we experience be they geographical or emotional.

The end of 2008 saw Grieves enlisting the help of friend and collaborator Budo to co-produce Together/Apart bringing his signature swiss-army knife, multi-instrumental backdrop to Grieves’ hauntingly poignant narrative. Together/Apart concludes three years of self-discovery that has ultimately lead to Grieves’ most emotionally charged and daring album to date titled Come Together, Grow Apart which debuted on June 21st, 2011.
