Big Bear Lake, CA (December 16, 2013) -- Real Snow. Real Close. Real Deal.

Over half the terrain at Bear Mountain is now OPEN! Recent cold weather has made for perfect snowmaking conditions, and more snow is expected later this week. New runs continue to be opened daily, and over 100 features are currently available.

      New Year's Eve Party 

Continued snowmaking has resulted in new runs being opened daily at Snow Summit. Currently over half the terrain at Snow Summit is open, with several miles of rideable terrain! More snow is expected later this week, and new runs continue to be opened daily.

    Torchlight Parade: Ring in the New Year, Snow Summit-style! Every year, the mountain is lit up when over 200 Snow Summit staff and employees make their way down the mountain by ski and snowboard, each carrying a torch. The mountain is illuminated against the night sky, and can be seen near and far. This parade is truly one-of-a-kind!
